Hello!

You may have noticed that we’ve taken a brief break from publishing “The Bridge” over the last month. During this time we have been huddled up as a team. We’ve been reviewing reader comments and trends from the last year. We’ve been strategizing and planning our next moves. And, we have been carefully planning a new website to house future editions of “The Bridge.”

Over the next few months, each edition of “The Bridge” will be organized around a theme. This will help us to focus our attention and go deeper into local topics that are important to our rapidly growing list of readers. If you happen to love reading about community news, events, and stories about our past, don’t worry. None of this is going away! You will find all you have grown to love about “The Bridge” — and more — in upcoming editions.

So, stay tuned for the August edition, which will come out the first Tuesday of the month and will focus on an exciting, community-led effort currently underway to bring a member-owned grocery store to Aliquippa.
