Why we chose to highlight this guide: The community benefits framework is a way to help bring decision-making power to residents. In this document, 'A Guide to Community Benefits in Southwestern Pennsylvania,' which was published last week, RiverWise, Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services, and New Sun Rising share two years of insights from doing this sort of community work alongside local organizations and leaders. We chose to highlight this guide because we believe residents should have a seat at the table when decisions are being made.
